The Emerald City

OK, after a ridiculous long amount of time, I finally am back to blogging. How could I not be inspired by the bejewled beauties of the Golden Globes. And I've gotta say, I am green with envy! I just loved the emerald green numbers (as worn above). I'm also ashamed to say (as an avid wearer/promoter of the color pink) that I liked the green gowns much better than all the boring nudes and pinks. The only exception is Eva Longoria's totally FIERCE black Zac Posen gown. Grammy Throwback?

Just a quick little post here, does anyone else feel like this Roberto Cavalli number is kind of throw back to J-Lo's 2000 Grammy Versace "jungle dress"? It was like the designer just said, oh it worked once before, we'll just throw in one extra strap across the front. Of course she looks hot no matter what she wears.
